Today's Home Inspection: Don't lick your deck!
Sharing from Chris Hilton, Home Inspector: Today's Home Inspection: Don't lick your deck!:
God Bless Our Troops!
XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL
If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com/ you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our soldiers over there need to know we are behind them. This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. We can never say thank you enough. Please feel welcome to pass along to others.

Short Sales are a Great Buy!
I have handled short sales on the selling side and on the buying side and I think they are one of the best deals on the market for buyers who are looking for their next home. Whether you are a first time buyer or a move up buyer, this is a great way to buy a home but you just have to remember that these transactions take time, the banks are not "personally" involved in the sale of the home. These homes are just part of the bank's inventory and their connection is purely business; therefore, be patient, be consistent, be realistic in your expectations, and go for it! You just might find the purchase of a lifetime!!
Have we hit the bottom yet?
I keep hearing that we have hit the bottom and that things should start getting better in the real estate market. I also keep hearing that there is another wave of foreclosures coming our way and that there could be a second fallout on the horizon. I guess we will not know whether we have hit the bottom until after things start to get better. That seems to be the only way to know that we indeed have hit the bottom. Interest rates are at their lowest ever, there is an abundance of great inventory out there on the market, and buyers should definitely take advantage of the current conditions while they have a chance!!
